Our 4-Step Onboarding Process
Step 1: Legacy Kick-off Session
We begin with a guided conversation about your family or business. What does your family look like now? Where do you want it to go?
Tell us about the structure—parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins. What’s your relationship to your current family unit, and how do you want yours to evolve differently? Have you ever thought about your “legacy” in real or abstract terms?
This session sets the tone for everything that follows.
Step 2: Becoming a Client: Required Foundations
To officially begin working together, you must have an estate plan and a financial plan in place. We believe in holistic planning and our work enhances, not replaces, legal and financial strategy.
Before you’re officially onboarded, we’ll confirm that these foundational plans have been started or completed.
Step 3: Delivery of Introductory Package
After your kickoff session and plan confirmations, we provide you with a detailed snapshot of your family structure, history, and initial recommendations for your legacy journey. The one-time onboarding fee ($395) marks the beginning of our work together and ensures you're set up for deeper exploration.
Step 4: Start Building Your Archive
As part of your Introductory Package, we’ll present you with a roadmap of next steps. Some families begin with just a single a la carte service. Most choose to move forward with our Legacy Preservation Package, which bundles the most-requested features (photo digitization and oral history interviews) into a high-value, cost-effective tier.
This package lays the foundation for your family’s lasting archive, and many clients opt to split the cost with relative or categorize the expense as business-related, especially for materials with shared or public value.
